I’m a nonprofit communications professional living in Chicago. I’m a passionate social justice advocate, feminist, and all-around lit-nerd.

I have a master’s degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern. While at Medill, I reported on health care and blogged for the Northwestern Global Health Portal. I’m also a proud graduate of the University of Chicago (AB ’10).

Personally, I am a creative, curious person who likes to absorb myself in new projects, problems and people.

Check out my most recent short story, “Poolside,” at Hypertext Magazine. Read my other work on Medium, or feel free to peruse the old blog, the old old blog, or clips. You can also find me on Twitter, where I mostly re-tweet Chrissy Teigen.

I freelance edit, write, and provide strategic communications consultations, especially for non-profit organizations. If you’re interested in any of these services, shoot me an email.
